Job Summary
The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of the business, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient operations, and high standards across all departments. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, supporting business growth, and ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily management of the business and support smooth day-to-day operations.
- Supervise and support staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Assist with staff training, induction, and performance monitoring.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, service, and presentation are maintained.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient service.
- Help promote the business, improve customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities to increase sales and grow the business.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, licensing, and company policies.
- Support the General Manager with operational duties and act in their absence when required.
Person Specification
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and supporting business growth.
Pay: £25,420.00-£38,204.25 per year
