The Events Sales Executive supports the Head of Events in delivering a seamless, high-quality private hire and events experience across the Club. This role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, administration, and communication that underpins the success of the Events function.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Front of House, Food & Beverage, and Kitchen teams, the Events Sales Executive ensures all enquiries, proposals, and event details are managed accurately, efficiently, and in line with the Club's brand, service standards, and member culture. The role combines strong organisation with a proactive, guest-focused mindset and a clear understanding of commercial priorities.
What You'll Do
Sales & Event Coordination
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound enquiries, managing opportunities from initial contact through to contract
- Proactively generate new corporate, private, and Member-led business opportunities through targeted business development
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by prospecting new clients and re-engaging lapsed and dormant accounts
- Prepare and issue event proposals, quotations, contracts, and invoices in line with agreed pricing and Club standards
- Follow up all enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring responses are issued within 24 hours to maximise conversion
- Maintain accurate event systems, client databases, and sales trackers
- Support the Head of Events with sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and performance analysis
Client Communication & Guest Experience
- Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the enquiry, planning, and post-event process, including invoicing
- Coordinate and conduct client site visits, representing the Club as a knowledgeable and welcoming ambassador
- Anticipate client needs and ensure all event details are accurately captured and communicated
- Support the delivery of events to ensure a smooth guest experience from enquiry through to execution
Operations & Internal Collaboration
- Act as the conduit between Events, Front of House, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, and other operational teams
- Oversee event logistics, ensuring smooth planning, setup, delivery, and breakdown
- Maintain up-to-date daily schedules and ensure relevant teams are briefed on upcoming activity
Financial & Administrative Support
- Assist with departmental budgets, forecasts, and sales reports
- Raise purchase orders and support invoice tracking to ensure alignment with budgets and timely processing
- Maintain organised departmental filing systems and documentation
- Support stock and collateral management for sales activity, events, and promotions
Quality, Standards & Brand Representation
- Ensure all work reflects the Club's brand values, service standards, and attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client, member, or company information
- Ensure company procedures and service benchmarks are followed at all times
- Build strong knowledge of the local market, competitors, and event trends to support the wider team
Team Culture & Ways of Working
- Act as a positive ambassador for the Club's people culture and values

What We're Looking For
Given the calibre of this position, we are seeking an experienced, sales professional who can bring genuine gravitas, polish, and proven results to the role.
- Substantial, demonstrable experience in an events or sales coordination role within hospitality, private clubs, hotels, or premium venues
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding significant sales targets
- Strong administrative and IT skills, with experience using sales or event systems
- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties in a manner that reflects highly on The Sloane Club
- Strong problem-solving, sound reasoning, and an ongoing passion for learning
- Good writing skills
