We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Funeral Director to join our independent, family business . The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating funeral services with sensitivity and professionalism, ensuring that families receive respectful support during difficult times. Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of funeral arrangements, including liaising with families, clergy, and service providers.
- Prepare and oversee the transportation of deceased persons, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Manage logistical arrangements for funeral services, including venue setup and coordination of staff.
- Assist families with necessary documentation and legal requirements related to the deceased.
- Provide compassionate support and guidance to bereaved families throughout the process.
- Ensure all equipment and vehicles are maintained in excellent condition and comply with health and safety standards.
- Handle heavy lifting of caskets, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all services conducted and related administrative duties.
- Preparation of deceased for family visits in private chapel.
- Transportation of the deceased out of hours.
