Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female Support Worker (At clients request) to provide high-quality care and assistance to a young man with learning disabilities. The role involves supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. Candidates should be committed to delivering person-centred care and possess a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Duties
- Assisting clients with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming if required
- Supporting patients with transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Driving clients to appointments or outings safely and responsibly
- Monitoring health status and reporting any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals and family
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including medication administration and first aid
- Proven ability in caregiving roles involving behaviour management and heavy lifting tasks
- Familiarity with meal preparation and basic healthcare procedures
- Valid driving licence for transporting clients safely is preferred

There is the possibility of working with other Service Users if you would like to increase your hours.
