Job Advert
Gear4music is one of the world’s leading online retailers of musical instruments and music equipment, helping musicians across Europe and beyond find the products they need to create, perform and enjoy music.
Founded in 2003, our mission has always been simple: to make buying and playing musical instruments easier, more accessible and more affordable for musicians at every level.
Today, we offer more than 64,000 products to customers in 190 countries through 20 localised websites, supported by a team of around 500 people across five countries. In 2022, we also launched AV.com, expanding our expertise into home cinema, HiFi and accessories.
We’re now entering an exciting next phase of growth, investing in our brand, content and marketing capabilities as we continue to grow across Europe. This role is a great opportunity to join a creative, ambitious team and play a hands-on part in shaping the content that brings Gear4music to life.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Video Editor to join us on a fixed-term contract for 3–6 months.
This is a hands-on editing role in a busy, fast-moving creative environment. You’ll be working across a wide range of video content, from social-first edits to longer-form projects, helping us create engaging, polished content for musicians and music lovers.
You’ll be confident taking a brief and managing your own edits from first assembly through to final delivery. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, make strong creative decisions, and keep projects moving without compromising on quality.
What You’ll be Doing
In this role, you’ll:
-
Take ownership of video edits from brief through to final delivery
-
Manage multiple projects at once, balancing pace, quality and deadlines
-
Edit video content for digital platforms, social media and wider marketing channels
-
Carry out colour grading and finishing using DaVinci Resolve
-
Create motion graphics and visual enhancements using Adobe After Effects
-
Retouch and prepare visual assets using Adobe Photoshop
-
Keep project files, assets and workflows organised and easy to manage
-
Work closely with the wider creative and marketing team, while managing your own day-to-day workload
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a confident, capable editor who understands how to tell a story through video.
You know how to shape pacing, narrative and audience engagement — whether you’re cutting a 30-second social clip or a longer-form piece of content. You’re comfortable working at pace, juggling multiple edits, and making smart decisions quickly.
You’ll be someone who takes pride in their craft, cares about the details, and knows how to protect quality even when deadlines are tight. You won’t need hand-holding, but you will enjoy being part of a collaborative team that’s passionate about creating great content.
Skills & Experience

-
2+ years professional video editing experience
-
Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro
-

-
Intermediate skills in Adobe After Effects, including motion graphics
-

-

-
