We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various outdoor tasks and general siteworks with training in drainage and digger work.
This position is ideal for an individual with a strong work ethic and a willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labour tasks such as digging, trenching, and backfilling
- Assist with the installation of drainage systems and general siteworks
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in groundworks
- Help with the construction of pathways, driveways, flagging, paving
- Support the team in landscaping projects
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in groundworks or a similar roll helpful but not essential
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques and materials helpful but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
