An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a collaborative and motivated Financial Management Team at Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
The Finance Business Partner is an integral part of the Team and will work closely with finance colleagues and service managers to provide expert financial support and advice, acting as a key point of contact for all financial matters. Leading on financial reporting, forecasting and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely information to support decision-making.
You will be:
CCAB qualified or in the final professional stage
Strong experience of financial management, reporting and analysis
Confident working with senior stakeholders and operational managers
Able to provide insight, challenge and influence decision-making

Able to attend Trust HQ a minimum of one day per week
To provide a lead role in producing accurate and timely financial reporting and advice to specified services in respect of all issues of financial control.
To act as the point of contact for all financial issues for specified services, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis to aid decision making and the direction of the business.
To oversee the production of annual and monthly management accounts, and financial returns, ensuring that budget holders receive accurate, timely information and support to
enable them to make effective business decisions.
Deputise for Senior Finance Business Partner at meetings, leading in development of finances, management and supervision of direct reports and any other ad hoc duties required.
To work with the Directorate to maximise and manage income; value for money by identifying new and supporting existing opportunities; and providing financial input into decision making.
