We are a small friendly nursery and our goal is to support each and every child on their learning journey through quality interactions with an exceptional staff team giving parent's/carers peace of mind that they can go to work knowing their child/ren will be well looked after, plus all dietary needs will be catered for.
We are looking to recruit a passionate and fun Deputy Manager to join our family at Happy Feet Day Care and support our nursery manager and the team. You should have a good sense of humour and a warm smiling face that makes every child feels special. As a Deputy Manager you will also be working within the nursery rooms, supporting the staff team.
You must be able to give 'big warm hugs' and have a talent for planning exciting activities and make the children's faces light up every day.
You must be able to laugh at jokes you don't understand, or you don't find funny.
Ideally you should be able to read stories, often upside down, with at least 10 interruptions per page.
Finally you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families.
There is no better feeling than watching that tiny baby grow into a well-educated pre-schooler preparing for 'big school'
