Overview
We have FULL and PART-TIME opportunity for a qualified Pharmacy Dispensing Assistants (Level 2) looking to develop their careers in community pharmacy in Sheffield.
We operate three pharmacies in Sheffield and now require motivated and intelligent individuals to help drive our pharmacies forward.
Specific branch opportunities can be curated for the right applicants.
The successful applicant will be able to start as soon as possible.
Main duties:
· Dispensing prescriptions
· Accepting & giving out Prescriptions
· Processing electronic prescriptions
· Advising patients: in person and on the telephone
· Advising on OTC medicines sales
· Maximising dispensary revenues
· Engaging patients into Advanced Services
· Providing MDS services
· Maintaining current knowledge and high standards with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
· Maintaining high retail and dispensary housekeeping standards.
· Ordering stock in accordance with SOPs
· Receiving stock in accordance with SOPs
Personal Qualities:
· Be qualified to Level 2 standard
· Be honest, reliable and diligent
· Good attention to detail and high levels of concentration.
· Work well in high volume environments
· Work well in a busy team
· Have excellent communication and customer service skills
· Have a good level of IT literacy and numeracy
· Have a warm and friendly but professional attitude towards customers
· Have an ability to respond to medical queries in a sensitive and professional manner
Schedule:
Up to full-time (38hrs) per week possibly including Saturday mornings on rotation.
Experience: Qualified Level 2 Dispensing Assistant or Qualified Healthcare Assistants required.

Basic salary: commencing rate from £12.71 per hour
