Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. 33 hours on days. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for all
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is a requirement.
- Familiarity with following care plans is desirable
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation to Home
- Excellent communication skills are vital for building trust and rapport with clients and team members
