Kiosk Team Leader - Crystal Palace Park
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Kiosk Team Leader to manage the daily operation of our open-air kiosk in Crystal Palace Park.
The kiosk is outdoors, so you must be comfortable working in different weather conditions, including hot, cold, windy and rainy days. The role also involves early morning starts and evening finishes, when it may be dark in the park. Winter opening and shift times may change due to reduced daylight.
Key Duties
- Lead and supervise the kiosk team.
- Prepare food including grilled items, sandwiches and panini.
- Operate the grill and maintain food quality and safety.
- Regularly check the kiosk to ensure it is clean, tidy, fully stocked and well presented.
- Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards.
- Delegate tasks and support the team during busy periods.
- Monitor stock and complete the Sunday evening stock count.
- Manage waste and keep waste areas clean and safe.
- Handle customer issues professionally.
- Follow food safety and health & safety procedures.
Working Hours
The role operates on a two-shift system:
- Morning: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Late: 11:00 am – 9:00 pm
Requirements:
- Previous Team Leader/supervisory experience in a similar hospitality or food service environment is essential.
- Food preparation and grill experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work under pressure and lead a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable with early starts, late finishes and physical duties including cleaning, moving stock and occasionally lifting/emptying waste containers.
