Due to continued growth, Omnia Plumbing & Heating Ltd is looking for skilled and motivated Plumbers and Gas Engineers to join our expanding, friendly team.
We specialise in high-end residential projects, bathrooms, heating systems and plumbing works, with many of our projects based around Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Cheshire and surrounding areas.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in neat, high-quality workmanship and is comfortable working in customer homes and on premium projects. Some projects may be ongoing for a period of time, meaning you could be on and off the same site over several weeks or months depending on the stage of the work.
We are based in Sandbach, and our offices are located there, but most of the time you will travel directly from your home to site. There is usually no daily need to attend the office unless required, or unless you are local to Sandbach.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general plumbing works to a high standard
- Work on high-end residential projects and bathroom installations
- Diagnose and repair faults on boilers, gas appliances and central heating systems
- Identify and replace faulty parts across a wide range of boiler models and heating systems
- Use a company-provided tablet system to record job details, complete worksheets and order parts
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients
- Ensure all work is carried out neatly, safely and respectfully within customers’ homes
- Work across Cheshire, Manchester, Stoke, Wilmslow, Alderley Edge and surrounding areas
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ plumbing experience
- Experience in high-end residential plumbing and bathroom work preferred
- Experience in boiler and central heating fault diagnosis and repair
- Gas Safe qualification preferred / required depending on role
- Comfortable using mobile or tablet-based systems — full training provided
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High standards of cleanliness and respect when working in residential properties
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required for certain contracts
Licence / Certification
- Driving Licence — required
- City & Guilds or equivalent plumbing qualification — required
- Gas Safe registration — required for Gas Engineer role
