Franklin House Children's Nursery are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. As part of a local group, we focus on delivering high quality pre school learning that supports children's growth and learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating environment for children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
Uphold safeguarding procedures in line with legal requirements and nursery policies
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among children
Supervising children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being
Supporting children's emotional and behavioural needs with patience and understanding
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment
Building strong relationships with parents and carers through effective communication
Assisting with daily routines such as meal times, naps, and outdoor play
Contributing to the development of individualised care plans for each child
Supporting colleagues in maintaining high standards of childcare and compliance with regulatory requirements
Experience
Level 3 or above in early years
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Good team worker who can offer insight and take direction
Strong organisational skills
A genuine passion for early childhood development.
