Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including our 5 star hotel rooms. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with established standards.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
- Uphold health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Serve customers at breakfast
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping within a hotel environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
