Vision for Education are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in the Telford area. This is a part-time position working 5 mornings per week, starting from the Autumn Term 2026.
The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2, working closely with the class teacher and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a consistent part-time role within a supportive school environment.
The role:
This role will include:
- Working 5 mornings per week on a part-time basis
- Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2
- Working with individual pupils and small groups to support their learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and activities
- Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
- Starting from the Autumn Term 2026

Requirements:
To be considered for this KS2 Teaching Assistant position, you will:
- Have previous experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 2
- Have experience supporting children with their learning, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Be confident, patient and adaptable in your approach
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be able to commit to working 5 mornings per week from the Autumn Term 2026
- Be able to provide two recent and relevant references
- Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
