We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Head Server to join our independently owned restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering excellent customer service while helping lead a friendly, hardworking front-of-house team.
As a Head Server, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming dining experience, supporting team members, and ensuring smooth day-to-day service. Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
- Lead by example during service and support the front-of-house team.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Ensure food and drinks are served accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customer questions and resolve any issues professionally.
- Help train and support new team members.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Previous experience as a server in a busy restaurant is essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a team-first mindset.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Leadership experience is a plus, but we're happy to help the right candidate develop into the role.
