Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Health Care Assistant in a vibrant residential care home environment. In this vital role, you'll provide compassionate support to residents, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times
- Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to the senior care team
- Engage residents in social activities and conversations to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to foster a supportive and transparent environment
- Support with light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming living space for all residents
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Basic IT skills for documentation and care planning purposes
- Valid driving license is advantageous for supporting transportation needs or errands outside the home
- Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude and proactive approach to resident care
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with residents and their families

Pay: Up to £12.82 per hour
