We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic General Farm Worker to join our team on a progressive dairy farm on the South Pembrokeshire coast.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving livestock, machinery and general farm work.
About the Farm
We operate a New Zealand-style grazing system focused on producing milk efficiently from grazed grass.
Our business includes:
- 1,200 spring-calving crossbred cows
- 40-point herringbone and 50-point rotary parlours
- Seasonal grazing with fodder beet in spring and autumn
- Wintering on cubicles and outwintered beet
- Dedicated youngstock unit
- 10-day fortnight working rota
The Role
Duties include:
- Milking cows
- Moving and handling livestock
- Tractor driving and feeding stock
- Fencing and general farm maintenance
- Grassland and grazing management
- Machinery operation, servicing and repairs
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has practical farming experience (dairy experience preferred)
- Is confident handling livestock
- Can safely operate tractors and farm machinery
- Is hardworking, reliable and works well as part of a team
Training can be provided for the right person.
