DegreeSix Recruitment is a leading SEN specialist agency who provides support to schools in and around Luton. We provide support for pupils to access their education, giving children/young people the opportunities to learn and overcome barriers to their learning.
What the role entails:
· Working in an allocated class alongside the classroom teacher ensuring all students are supported.
· Working with students in small groups or carrying out interventions to help students who needs extra support.
· Following safeguarding policies to create a positive environment for students.
Who we are looking for:
· Experience working with children and young people with additional needs.
· An empathetic and patient individual who can be a positive role model to the students.
· Someone who is passionate about wanting to make a change in the lives of students with additional needs.
· An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the update system) or a willingness to obtain one.
· Someone who is adaptable to follow the needs of the school and the children.
