This is not a traditional care role.
You won't be carrying out personal care or providing intimate support.
Instead, you'll be helping people enjoy life.
We're looking for an Adventure Companion to support older people and adults with disabilities to enjoy days out, hobbies, appointments, favourite places and activities that matter to them.
Many of the people we support don't need care.
They simply need companionship, encouragement and someone to help them continue doing the things they enjoy.
What Could Your Day Look Like?
- A trip to a garden centre
- Lunch at a favourite café
- A scenic drive through the countryside
- Supporting someone to attend a community event
- Shopping trips
- Visiting friends and family
- Enjoying hobbies and interests together
- Sharing conversation and companionship
No two days are the same.
Why People Love This Role
Many of our clients have fascinating stories, wonderful personalities and a lifetime of experiences to share.
