Electrician – Solar PV & Battery Storage Installer
Location: Birmingham and surrounding areas (must be able to travel)

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our team, specialising in the installation of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems for residential customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Install Solar PV systems and battery storage solutions to a high standard.
- Carry out electrical testing, commissioning, and fault finding.
- Install AC and DC electrical systems in accordance with current regulations.
- Complete all relevant certification and installation documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671, MCS standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on site.
- Work independently and as part of a team on projects across the region.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at height and outdoors.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- 18th addition with 2nd amendment certificate.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience installing Solar PV systems.
- Experience installing battery storage systems.
- MCS or renewable energy experience.
- ECS Gold Card.
- IPAF and PASMA certification (advantageous).
