Forklift Operator
Duties:
- Safely operate a forklift to move and stack materials in the yard or production area
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of items
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update as necessary
- Assist with general yard duties as needed
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a yard or production setting
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and best practices
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
