Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our Care Home. This is a customer service-oriented role that requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Stock and replenish supplies in designated areas
- Empty waste and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining various surfaces and materials
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel or care home cleaning is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Basic cooking skills are a plus
