We're working with a growing accountancy practice in High Wycombe that's looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Client Bookkeeper to join its team.
You'll have plenty of client contact and the opportunity to take ownership of your work, while having a supportive team around you when needed.
The Role
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Completing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Bank and control account reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions
- Posting journals and making month-end adjustments
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and obtain information
- Using cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
About You
We're keen to hear from bookkeepers with previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice. You don't need to match every requirement – attitude, client skills and a willingness to keep developing are equally important.
