Laundra, the leading Dry cleaning and Laundry services provider in Bristol is seeking an experienced and dedicated Dry Cleaning and Shirt Presser to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining press machines to ensure that garments are properly pressed and finished to meet our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various modern press machines, including shirt press, trouser press, finishing table and other equipment used in the dry cleaning and laundry process
- Inspect garments to ensure they are properly cleaned and free of any stains or damages before pressing
- Ensure that garments are pressed and finished to meet our high-quality standards
- Handle garments with care to avoid any damages or wrinkles
- Keep the work area clean and organised at all times
- Assist other team members and departments as and when required and when not busy
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Familiarity with various equipment used in the dry cleaning and laundry process
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of quality control
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Rock-solid reliability, always showing up and always on-time
