We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Live-in Carers to join our Supported Living team.
The Role
As a Live-in Carer in Supported Living, you will reside within the supported living placement and provide day-to-day care and support to service users with varying needs. You will support individuals in maintaining independence, promoting wellbeing, and achieving personal goals while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
This role is ideal for caring individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and practical support where required
- Supporting service users with daily living activities
- Encouraging independence and life skills development
- Supporting medication administration and record keeping
- Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Supporting service users to access community activities and appointments
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
- Promoting safeguarding, dignity, and person-centred care at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in care or supported living preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete DBS checks and mandatory training
- Driving licence is advantageous but not essential
