CIT Planner (Cash Services)
Location: Crickhowell, Head Office
Salary: £34,000
Full Time – 40 hours per week (Any 5 days out of 7)
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive CIT Planner to join our fast-paced Cash Services team. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of ATM and cash delivery networks across both internal and third-party estates.
As a CIT Planner, you will play a key part in coordinating cash replenishment schedules, maintaining service performance, and supporting operational excellence across a nationwide network. What You’ll Be DoingScheduling & Logistics Coordination
- Plan and optimise daily ATM, DATM and DRS replenishment schedules
- Coordinate First Line Maintenance (FLM) activities across the estate
- Build efficient routing plans considering geography, resources, and service priorities
- Monitor operational progress in real time and adjust schedules as needed
- Ensure compliance with driver working time regulations
Cash & ATM Management
- Monitor ATM performance and cash levels to minimise downtime and cash-outs
- Forecast daily cash requirements based on trends and demand
- Manage cash stock, including returned and residual balances
- Raise and manage cash orders in line with operational needs
Third-Party Operations
- Support scheduling and service delivery for third-party ATM networks
- Monitor performance and ensure service standards are met
- Identify exceptions and escalate additional cash or service requirements
Reporting & Administration
- Produce and distribute daily operational and performance reports
- Maintain accurate records across scheduling and cash activities
- Support wider administration within the cash services function
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to improving planning tools, systems, and processes
- Support performance tracking through KPI reviews and operational meetings
- Help drive efficiency and service excellence across the network

- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience in a logistics, planning, or operational environment
- Route planning or scheduling experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of ATM or cash services operations (advantageous)
- Understanding of UK geography and routing principles
- Experience in reporting, forecasting, or workforce planning (beneficial)
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Strong IT literacy
Working Pattern
- 40 hours per week, across any 5 days out of 7 (including weekends)
- Shift patterns released every 4 weeks (2 weeks in advance)
- Working hours between 04:30am – 17:00pm depending on business needs
