Job title: Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operative
Working Pattern: Tuesday – Saturday – 5 days a week, 4am-2pm
Salary: £3,119.75 gross / paid 4 weekly
Town & Country Meats Group Ltd. are one of the largest, specialised suppliers of wholesale frozen foods within the United Kingdom. We are looking for Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team.
Job Summary:
This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work in the cold environment, in chillers and freezers and also outside in the open air.
Duties to include
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers efficiently and safely.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring correct storage within the warehouse.
- Perform picking and packing of orders.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory levels and stock movements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to promote a safe working environment.
- Operate forklifts safely, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Delivering goods to customers
