Summary
We are seeking a skilled Stone Worktop Finisher to join our team in the UK. Based in our workshop, you will play a vital role in finishing high-quality stone surfaces, ensuring they meet our exacting standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Finish and polish stone work surfaces to achieve a smooth and professional appearance.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and grinding equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with fabrication team to ensure seamless workflow.
- Conduct quality checks on finished surfaces.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in stone finishing or related fabrication work.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and grinding techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of fabrication processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good physical dexterity and ability to work standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
