Start date: June 2026 (immediate).
Salary: £14,560 per year (part-time, 20 hours per week) to start. After a successful six-month probation, we intend to move the role to full-time from January 2027 at an increased salary of £31,200 per year, in line with the growth of the business.
Please note: this role includes occasional planned travel to project sites across the UK, with overnight stays. All transport and accommodation are arranged and paid for, and project days are paid on top of your salary (details below). If regular overnight travel isn't right for you, this probably isn't the role.
About us
Eighty Eight Management is a compliance-led specialist services provider working across regulated environments in the West Midlands and beyond. We deliver specialist cleaning, clinical waste management, pest control and food hygiene — often under one contract — for care homes, GP and dental practices, restaurants and hotels. We're a doing company, not a consultancy: clients trust us to hold the right qualifications, do the work properly, and take the pressure of compliance off their plate.
The role
We're looking for an organised, calm Operations Coordinator to keep our day-to-day service delivery running smoothly. You'll be the person who makes sure jobs are scheduled, operatives are briefed, and records are in order — the steady hand that keeps operations moving so the Director can focus on growing the business.
It's part-time for now because that's what's practical at this stage, but we expect the right person to grow with us.
What you'll do
Scheduling and logistics
- Book and schedule jobs across multiple sites
- Brief operatives before each job — location, scope, PPE, any site-specific instructions
- Be the first point of contact for operatives on the day
- Coordinate clinical waste collections and related logistics
- Keep PPE and equipment stocked — monitor levels and reorder as needed
Quality and service
- Check completed work against our standards
- Handle re-dos and complaints at first line, escalating to the Director only where needed
- Check that any subcontractors used meet our standards and hold the right documentation
Records and compliance
- Maintain waste carrier documentation and consignment notes
- Keep operative training and certification records up to date
- Support the Director with accreditation renewals and compliance paperwork
People and suppliers
- Onboard new operatives — induction, paperwork, H&S briefing
- Support day-to-day standards — punctuality, quality, reliability
- Keep relationships with key suppliers ticking over and flag issues early
Project site work (occasional)
A few times a year we run planned, multi-day deep-clean projects at residential and student accommodation sites around the UK. You'd travel to these to coordinate the team on site — making sure they're briefed, equipped and working to the client's specification, and acting as the point of contact between the client and the team.
Transport and accommodation are arranged and paid for. Project days are paid at an additional £120 per day on top of your salary.
What we're looking for
Essential
- Experience coordinating or supervising cleaning, facilities or field-based teams
- Strong organisation — comfortable juggling multiple jobs and people at once, including last-minute changes
- Some experience keeping compliance records or documentation
- Full UK driving licence (travel to sites is part of the role)
- Calm, clear and solutions-focused — good with operatives, professional with clients
Desirable
- Experience in a regulated environment — care, clinical, waste or similar
- Familiarity with waste carrier or clinical waste documentation
- Experience with scheduling or CRM software
- IOSH, NEBOSH or a relevant H&S qualification
Benefits
- Company pension
- Flexible working hours

Send your CV to [email protected]. If you'd like to, add a line or two about a time you kept a team or a busy operation on track under pressure — we're glad to read it, but it's not required to apply.
We review applications as they come in and aim to get back to suitable candidates quickly.
Pay: £14,560.00-£31,200.00 per year
