Location: Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP)
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (52 weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm (flexibility required)

Star Player Mentoring Ltd is looking for an experienced, passionate and organised Mentoring Operations Manager to lead our mentoring provision across Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
You'll lead a team of mentors, build strong relationships with schools and families, ensure high-quality mentoring is delivered every day, and play a key role in developing and growing our services across the region.
No two days are the same. One day you may be supporting a mentor, the next attending a school meeting, completing quality assurance visits or working with families to overcome barriers to engagement.

What You'll Be Doing
As Mentoring Operations Manager, you'll:
Lead and support a team of professional mentors across BCP.
Manage daily mentoring operations and staff rotas.
Ensure mentoring sessions are delivered safely and to a consistently high standard.
Carry out observations, supervision meetings and annual appraisals.
Support mentor development through coaching and feedback.
Build positive relationships with schools, SENCOs, parents and professionals.
Attend school and multi-agency meetings.
Monitor attendance, engagement and placement success.
Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
Support recruitment, onboarding and induction of new mentors.
Ensure operational records, reports and payroll information are accurate.
Promote safeguarding and maintain the highest standards of practice.
Contribute to the continued growth and development of Star Player's mentoring services.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Experience working with children and young people.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing competing priorities.
Confident leading meetings and building professional relationships.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Willingness to travel throughout the BCP area.
Desirable
Previous experience supervising or managing staff.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
Experience working with schools or local authorities.
Understanding of SEND and Alternative Provision.
Experience attending multi-agency meetings.

Annual Leave
28 days' annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
Due to the nature of the service, annual leave is normally taken during school holidays and half-term periods, subject to operational requirements.
