Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to execute precise installations
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to prevent failures and optimize performance
- Document all work performed accurately in reports and logs for quality assurance and compliance purposes
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to coordinate installation schedules and resolve technical issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of residential, commercial, or industrial wiring systems
- Hands-on experience using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
- Valid electrician certification or license recognized by relevant authorities
- Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations applicable in the region
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently
