Housekeeping Assistant
We are a friendly 43-bedroom bed and breakfast hotel looking for a bright, enthusiastic, and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join our small team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, helping to provide an excellent experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and corridors to a high standard.
- Complete allocated daily housekeeping duties in line with company procedures.
- Report any maintenance, security, or health and safety issues promptly to the line manager.
- Ensure all furniture, fixtures, and equipment are well maintained and report any damage.
- Respond to reasonable guest requests in a friendly and professional manner to ensure their comfort, satisfaction, and safety.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous housekeeping experience is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible.
Hours:
16–25 hours per week, including weekends, depending on business needs.
Pay:
Competitive hourly rate, above the National Minimum Wage, depending on experience.
Full training will be provided on our procedures and standards.
