Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Food Runner / Service Staff to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest experiences through efficient service and support in a fine dining restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or related fields is advantageous. Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared dishes promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
- Assist with food service
- Replenish supplies and organise service stations to maintain cleanliness and efficiency throughout shifts.
- Provide attentive guest services by answering questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and ensuring guests’ needs are met courteously.
- Support baristas or bartenders during busy periods by delivering beverages and assisting with basic drink service.
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes carefully and maintaining hygiene protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate orders and optimise service delivery.
- Assist with general cleaning duties in dining areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A friendly demeanour with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Basic food preparation or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
