Join our compassionate team as a Senior Care Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support! In this vital role, you will support management to bring the standards high making sure the service is CQC compliant. You will make sure paperworks are up to date. You must have experience in making the place complaint reporting and communicating KPI's to the Directors.
When needed, you will provide personalised care and assistance to clients in their homes , ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a warm, supportive environment where service users feel valued and respected. Whether assisting with daily activities or supporting care plans, your positive attitude will shine through every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Making sure the service is CQC complaint. Ensuring all paperwork is up to date.
- Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and track progress accurately.
- Support residents or clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
- Follow individual care plans meticulously to meet each person’s specific needs and preferences
- Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Assist with medication management and recordkeeping in accordance with protocols
Qualifications
- Good communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Good microsoft skills, Use of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely when transporting residents or running errands
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Basic IT skills for documentation and updating electronic records
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing needs with flexibility
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with those you support
- A caring attitude combined with reliability, patience, and respect for individual privacy
