Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our team at The Peter Rabbit Cafe.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their hospitality skills. The successful candidate will start by supporting the kitchen team with cleaning, washing up, basic food preparation, and maintaining high hygiene standards. Full training will be provided.
Following successful training and development, you will have the opportunity to progress into a Chef/Cook.
Duties include:
Washing dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment
Keeping kitchen and work areas clean and organised
Assisting with basic food preparation
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
Training towards chef/cook
What we're looking for:
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good work ethic and reliability
Ability to work as part of a team
Experience preferred but full training provided
Interest in developing into a kitchen/hospitality role
