DN Colleges Group are seeking to recruit a full-time Manufacturing Trainer Assessor to support learners and employers across North Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire.
This role is primarily focused on the delivery and assessment of Level 2 Performing Manufacturing Operations, with potential to also deliver programmes such as Lean Organisation Management and Business Improvement Techniques. Delivery will include workplace-based training, assessment of competence, onsite sessions and one-to-one learner support.
You will work closely with learners based at key employer sites, supporting them to develop their skills, build confidence and successfully complete their programme. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong manufacturing or warehousing experience who is passionate about helping others progress in their career.
We are looking for candidates with recent and relevant experience within the manufacturing sector. Ideally, you will already hold an assessor qualification and a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area. However, if you have strong manufacturing or warehousing experience but do not yet hold an assessor qualification, there may be an opportunity to achieve this as part of the role.
Experience of internal quality assurance, or an associated qualification, would be an advantage.
This is a varied and rewarding role requiring excellent communication skills, flexibility, strong organisation skills and the ability to work independently with a high level of accountability. A strong employer and customer focus is essential, along with the ability to build positive relationships between employers, learners and the College.
This is a fixed-term role for 12 months.
