Senior Residential Support Worker - Salford
£15.75 per hour + £45 per sleep + overtime
About the role:
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will support young people in the many different aspects of daily life within Our Client's homes, including:
- Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills
- Supporting young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities
- Conducting supervisions for staff members
- Managing the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager
- Effectively leading shifts, directing and supporting colleagues
- Managing health and safety processes in the home, including the implementation and monitoring of risk assessments
- Supporting the induction of new colleagues into the home
- Taking responsibility for safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of children and young people
