Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalised assistance to meet their gardening needs
- Offer expert advice on horticultural products, plants, tools, and accessories
- Organise and maintain attractive merchandise displays in line with visual merchandising standards
- Assist customers with product selection, ensuring they find suitable items for their gardening projects
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Manage stock levels by replenishing shelves and organising stockroom areas efficiently
- Maintain a clean and tidy store environment to enhance the shopping experience
- Support promotional activities and seasonal displays to maximise sales opportunities
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or related fields is preferred
- Multilingual skills, especially fluency in English, are highly desirable
