About the role
We are looking for an office administrator who can work as part of a team supporting the operational and management teams in Health & Adult Services (HAS). The role is part time, 18.5 hours per week (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) and currently based at Scarborough Town Hall. Due to the nature of the role you must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Equalities and Health and Safety requirements of working within an office environment. You will be joining a fun, lively and supportive team who carry out rewarding work to help our service users. You will also benefit from a supportive management system, on-going personal development and performance management process. Training will be available to the appointed person.
About You
We require a motivated administrator with a "can do" attitude combined with excellent communication and customer care skills. The successful applicant will be a well organised and flexible individual who has excellent ICT skills along with good literacy and numeracy. You must be able to prioritise your workload to meet tight deadlines and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team. Previous experience of cash handling and working with members of the public would be beneficial but is not essential.
