The Opportunity:
Peter Green Chilled is looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Re-Packer / Pickers to join our team at our Evercreech site near Shepton Mallet.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering stable employment, regular weekday hours and an immediate start. You’ll be working in a modern chilled warehouse environment where temperatures are maintained at up to 3°C, with full PPE provided to help keep you comfortable and safe while you work.
You’ll play an important part in supporting our chilled warehouse operation, helping to pick, repack, label and prepare products accurately for our customers across the UK. As part of a business specialising in temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics, this is a great opportunity to join an established team where quality, safety and reliability really matter.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our chilled warehouse operation. Your duties will include:
- Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Repacking and labelling supplier products in line with company procedures.
- Wrapping and labelling completed orders correctly.
- Following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Completing documentation accurately where required.
- Reporting any stock discrepancies to the warehouse management team.
- Helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the warehouse.
- Working as part of a team to keep the operation running smoothly.
- Supporting new team members once you are trained and confident in the role.
Full training will be provided, so you’ll have the support you need to learn the role and succeed.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for dependable team players who take pride in doing a job well. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment of up to 3°C, and you should be able to follow instructions carefully, work safely, and maintain a good level of accuracy throughout your shift.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.

- Good communication skills.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
- The confidence to work independently when required.
- A flexible approach to completing daily tasks.
- Good attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Awareness of health and safety, including manual handling.
- Own means of transport.
Previous warehouse, RF scanning, food hygiene or chilled environment experience would be helpful, but it is not essential as full training will be provided.
Pay and benefits:
- £13.15 per hour, plus attendance bonus.
- £100 attendance bonus paid every 4 weeks.
- Equivalent of £13.70 per hour with full attendance bonus.
