We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Electroplater to join our manufacturing team.
This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for a school or college leaver looking to start a career in manufacturing, engineering, surface finishing or metal treatment. No previous electroplating experience is required, as full training will be provided.
The role
As a Trainee Electroplater, you will learn how to prepare and process metal components using electroplating techniques. Working alongside experienced members of the team, you will gain practical, hands-on experience and develop the skills needed to build a career in surface finishing.
Your training will include:
- Preparing and cleaning metal components for plating.
- Learning and assisting with electroplating processes.
- Operating equipment safely and correctly.
- Inspecting components and checking finished work.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
- Working as part of a team to meet production requirements.
