Position Overview
As a Business Development Manager at Langstane, you will play a vital role in nurturing and growing our customer relationships. You will take the lead in expanding our client portfolio ranging from small businesses to larger organisations. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and driving business growth through proactive upselling and cross-selling of our extensive product and service range.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling and networking.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of accounts, developing a deep understanding of their goals and ensuring satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Develop tailored proposals and solutions that meet the specific needs of new clients, including upselling and cross-selling our full range of products and services.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their success.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor new business performance and sales metrics, reporting progress to internal stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated success as a Sales or Business Development Manager, ideally in a B2B environment
- Strong skills in cultivating client relationships, particularly in face-to-face settings.
- Expertise in generating leads, developing sales pipelines, and closing new business deals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- A demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated with excellent time-management skills and attention to detail
