Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a ASB Housing Assistant for an established Housing Association based in South Manchester. The role is an initial 9 month interim contract and paying £19 - £22 per hour via umbrella agency and offers flexible hybrid working. Please note the hiring manager is looking for someone who has worked in Social Housing before and can start as soon as possible.
The role:
- Act as the first point of contact for housing and anti-social behaviour (ASB) enquiries, providing a responsive and customer-focused service.
- Provide effective administrative support to the Housing and ASB teams, ensuring accurate records, correspondence and case information are maintained.
- Assist with the delivery of housing management and ASB services, supporting officers with casework, customer contact and follow-up actions.
- Identify tenants who may require additional support and work with colleagues and partner agencies to help sustain tenancies and achieve positive outcomes.
The person:
- Experience of working within social housing
- Able to deal with difficult customer queries/complaints and diffuse situations
- Excellent communication skills
