Encocam Ltd is a successfully established world leading Engineering and Manufacturing company based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our team, providing cost-effective building maintenance services across our various company owned properties, as well as assisting the overall maintenance team in the supply of an efficient and quality service to all departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Undertake maintenance and repair work as generated by the Maintenance System
· To assist with the movement and reinstatement of furniture and fixtures as required
· To take care and properly account for any gardening, plants, equipment, tools and parts
· Carry out general maintenance including building and site repairs
· Carry out routine checks such a legionella, e-light etc
· General upkeep of buildings (painting and decorating)
· Regular maintenance of company owned vehicles
The ideal candidate will have experience using hand and power tools, a full/clean UK driving licence and be a lean thinker who can identify ways to improves practices and procedures. It is desirable that they also have experience using a Maintenance system (CMMS) and experience using MEWP’s and scaffolding.
