Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated areas. This is a SELF EMPLOYED job and its a depot to depot delivery work. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a clean driving licence, and the ability to manage multiple deliveries in a timely manner. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans or lorries, to complete multiple deliveries across various locations.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely completion of all scheduled drops.
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring items are secure during transit.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations throughout all aspects of the role.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with multi-drop routes.
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles, including <PERSON> driver certification if applicable.
- Experience in commercial driving, with a clean driving record.
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting or manual handling.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to manage time effectively and organise deliveries efficiently.
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
