We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Hastings that is looking to recruit an Accounts Manager following continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a people-focused firm that offers genuine flexibility, varied work, and excellent long-term career prospects.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as their main point of contact
- Reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and management accounts
- Ensuring assignments are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Providing clients with proactive accounting and business advice
- Managing, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Working closely with the Partners on advisory projects and practice development
- Building strong, long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates with previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice. ACA or ACCA qualified candidates are preferred, although qualified by experience applicants with strong technical knowledge and client management experience are also encouraged to apply.
