Salary: £12.60 per hour
Role Overview
As a Padel Centre Host, you’ll be the friendly face and energetic heartbeat of our padel facility. You’ll create a welcoming atmosphere for players of all levels, ensure smooth daily operations, and help grow a thriving padel community. Whether it’s greeting guests, coordinating bookings, or supporting events, you’ll make every visit memorable. Padel is currently the fastest growing sport so come which makes this role even more exciting as you see people playing for the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence
Welcome players and visitors with warmth and professionalism. Handle queries, bookings, and feedback with a smile.
Ensure courts, equipment, and communal areas including changing rooms and toilets are clean, safe, and ready for use. Monitor schedules and assist with court turnover.
- Event & Tournament Support
Help organise and run padel events, social nights, and competitions. Be the go-to person for players and spectators.
Support sales of padel gear, serving drinks and preparing Barista coffee. Keep stock organised and assist with transactions.
Promote padel programmes, memberships, and coaching sessions. Encourage new players and foster a fun, inclusive environment. The aim is to create a friendly, open community in Kendal and it to be the hub for Padel in the lakes.
Use booking systems, manage emails, and assist with reporting or social media updates as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to multitask
- Comfortable using basic tech (booking systems, POS, email)
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- No experience needed as full training will be given
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
