Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team of kitchen staff to create high-quality dishes that reflect our restaurant's commitment to excellence.
Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and effective team collaboration.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop and design menus that cater to diverse tastes while adhering to seasonal availability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas into menu offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with a tandoor (Clay oven)
- Skilled in making soft and fluffy roti and naan (Plain, butter, garlic, etc.)
- Knowledge of traditional indian cooking techniques.
- Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and food quality standards.
- Punctual, reliable, and passionate about indian cusine.
