Following our continued success across South Wales, Apollo Teaching Services is expanding into England, with an initial focus on developing our services throughout Gloucestershire.
Role Summary
We are looking for a committed and motivated individual to join the Apollo team as a Recruitment Consultant, supporting the development of our new Gloucestershire region. Full training will be provided.
During the initial launch and development phase, the successful candidate will work from our established Cwmbran office. As our presence within Gloucestershire grows, the location and structure of the role are expected to develop alongside the region. Further details will be discussed during the interview process.
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will take responsibility for developing relationships with schools and providing them with exceptional service and high-quality teaching staff.
You will follow strict company procedures and REC guidelines to recruit qualified supply teachers, teaching assistants and support staff, supporting applicants throughout the registration and compliance process.
You will also represent Apollo Teaching Services at career fairs, recruitment events and other promotional activities throughout the academic year. You will therefore need to develop a strong understanding of the Apollo Teaching Services ethos and the educational recruitment sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, develop and initiate excellent working relationships with schools, colleges and other educational establishments through face-to-face visits and online communication.
- Support the development of Apollo Teaching Services’ presence throughout Gloucestershire.
- Source, recruit and interview supply teachers, teaching assistants and support staff.
- Undertake all administrative tasks required to register new members of supply staff.
- Fill and accurately record bookings placed by schools.
- Organise and attend recruitment events as an ambassador for Apollo Teaching Services.
- Provide support and assistance to colleagues and managers.
- Represent Apollo Teaching Services professionally when visiting schools and attending events.

Essential Experience and Requirements
- Experience of working in a sales-based or customer-focused environment.
- A full, clean driving licence and access to a car.
- The ability to travel between Cwmbran, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas when required.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience of working in recruitment is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience of working within the education sector is desirable but not essential.

Annual Leave and Holidays
- 25 days’ annual leave, plus eight UK bank holidays.
- Company-wide Christmas shutdown, providing an additional three to five paid days each year, depending on the annual calendar.
Long-Service Enhancement
- After two years’ service: an additional two days, providing a total of 27 days.
- After three years’ service: a further additional day, providing a total of 28 days.

During school term time:
7:00am until 4:30pm
During school holidays:
9:00am until 3:00pm
